HOPE
OMGOSH It has been amazing. It has been so eye-opening seeing how many people didn’t have an idea about what’s going on in North Korea. We are SO THANKFUL for the freedom to be able to spread awareness about this crisis and we are so committed to seeing EVERY North Korea refugee free.
If WE rely on each other to bring awareness, we will see Liberty in North Korea!!!

Arrived to NC a couple hrs ago. We’ve been meeting some awesome people. Sorry for not keeping up, will catch y’all up in our journey later on this evening! YOU ROCK!
Nashville
Today we explored Nashville, TN after hanging out at the Crema coffee for hours. Nashville is pretty awesome! Our original plan, just kidding we didn’t really have a plan. We just began driving… there’s so much to see! As we neared downtown Nashville I noticed people wearing ripped clothes and there faces were a bit white and with the color of red looking like zombies. And ...
Coffee Shops
While on the road our team has been to so many coffee shop and it’s only the 2 week of tour. I can’t wait for what next new and exciting coffee shop we visit! We love coffee shops for various reasons… sometimes because we need cheap coffee, other times because we need to do work so we use their internet other times because we just want to chill and reflect. What’s your...
Beautiful people

I wanna give a shout out to everyone we met in Arkansas from Benton High School, University of...

The Craziest 11 Weeks
Dedicted to all the Nomads, all the LiNK staffers, the Interns, and all those join us in this fight. A poem written to you.
The Craziest 11 weeks!
To describe it words fail
A multitude of photos cannot capture it
Roars of laughter are not enough to rejoice in it
There are not enough tears to cry over it
Frustration, exuberance, fatigue and tranquility
Each day brings forth a torrent of...

End of tour thoughts: relationships.
So, as the nomads have been debriefing the last 10 days, one of our assignments has been to write a “final” blog post. Basically….a piece of writing that sums up all of our experiences for the last 3+ months in one conclusive post. Not possible. It would really take a several hundred page book to talk about all of the ins and outs that is part of the life of a nomad. And...
Back in Office
Tour is officially, officially over. No more sleeping on floors. No more strange locations. No more pizza! hahaha. It is crazy how an experience so immeasurable can be boiled down to random things like how much pizza we ate, how many times we skipped the shower, or how many times we had to get more gas. haha. It makes me a bit sad when I do think about how we measure experiences as indescribable...
It's Not Over 'Til It's Over
It doesn’t seem real that I am sitting back in the Nomad House. It strangely is home. I had this thought as we merged onto the 110 and passed the signs for Torrance and Carson and felt like, “This is home.” But I guess after 11 weeks of random floors, dirty showers, stinky, stuffy rooms returning to this crazy house full of crazier people feels like home. I guess this is what...
Tour. Nomads. Stuff like that.
Just left the Grand Canyon. Four of the five Nomad teams managed to meet up on our way back to Torrance for our 12 day debriefing. Imagine 13 people who who lived and worked together for a month straight coming back together after not having seen each other for 11 weeks. I’m surprised that not a single Nomad fell into the canyon! Definitely a good thing. I mean, it’d be a real...
Avoiding the van thanks to City Church of Mobile
Alabama and Missippi were quite hard to book. We were able to secure a couple places in Alabama but housing was tough for one venue in particular. Caleb was waiting that at the last minute something would come through. Well, I have already expressed multiple times to my lovely teammates that sleeping in the van is not an option for me as long as we can still get housing. The van is not a last...
HANDLE BUSINESS.
[This is a reposting of a note by Albert on Facebook]
Hello everyone, this is Albert—NE Nomad.
I’m a Nomad and I care about North Korean human rights.
Let me tell you what I DON’T care about. I don’t care how this looks on my resume. I’m not in this to make money. I’m not here to make me feel better, or make myself some sort of...

unabashedly indifferent
How can you ignore pain?
How can you sit and talk and carry on?
Does your heart not bleed?
Is your conscious unseared?
Their stories flash before your eyes
Yet you remain unmoved
You drink your drink
As others strain to listen
Your apathy is tangible
Filling the room
Your cold heart chills my bones
Holding myself tight
You call yourself free
Yet selfishness enslaves you
You call yourself...
I would do this again.
